Walking Summit in Washington, DC
National and local leaders will engage in inspiring conversations and sessions that will build capacity, develop strategies, increase momentum, and showcase best practices to increase investment in walking and walkability. The Walking Summit will also model how to integrate walking and physical activity into a conference format.
WalkBoston will be well represented in DC!
On Day 1, Stacey Beuttell will lead a small group capacity building session on "Safe Routes to Transit - Lessons from Georgia and Massachusetts."
On Day 2, Executive Director Wendy Landman will follow the opening keynote address and present to the entire sold out conference on "Walking Matters."
